Thanks to a connection made by alumna and KHOU 11 News anchor Mia Gradney, a group of Bearkats gained valuable career preparation and confidence through a new connection with Dress for Success Houston.
The new collaboration is designed to ensure that when there is excess food from campus dining or catered events, it doesn’t go to waste. Instead, these meals provide students with nutritious options.
The Texas Board of Nursing approved a groundbreaking pilot program, led by SHSU’s School of Nursing and its partners, that will allow qualified Bachelor of Science in Nursing-prepared nurses to serve as independent clinical instructors for nursing students.
